Managing Client Assets and Client Money (CASS) in Investment Management Firms’ is a new practical one day course. It has been designed specifically for Investment Association members’ employees who are not CASS experts but have at least some knowledge of client assets. The course will cover the key considerations, methods and responsibilities for managing CASS in firms (including the CF10a). It will help delegates understand how to manage and protect client assets to satisfy FCA principles and rules, and it will appeal to anyone who wishes to broaden or refresh their knowledge regarding CASS, including executives, senior managers, and also staff providing support services to fund management companies. Examples and case studies will be used throughout the course.
